Lek is Co-Founder and Director of Thailand Operations for the Wolverines Academy. Born and raised in Thailand, Lek experienced firsthand the financial pressures facing Thai students and families - she navigated those same challenges herself while earning her university degree. After building deep roots in her home country, Lek moved to the United States 14 years ago, but still maintains close ties with her Thai friends, classmates, and community networks. That combination - lived experience in Thailand and relationships that span both worlds - makes her uniquely positioned to identify the right scholars and ensure that Wolverines Academy's support lands where it matters most.
Lek has watched talented, motivated students in Thailand abandon their education not because they lacked ability or drive, but simply because they couldn't afford to continue. That reality is personal for her, not abstract. As a co-founder of Wolverines Academy, she built the Thailand program from the ground up and remains its heart on the ground. For Lek, every scholar who graduates represents a family transformed and a community strengthened, and she knows exactly what that transformation costs, and what it means.
