University Scholarship
I grew up in a mountain village and attended school from kindergarten through primary school with great patience — I had to walk for 2 weeks to reach school, and my mother gave me 20 baht every 2 weeks. I then entered secondary school: by Grade 9 I had a GPA of 3.53, and by the end of high school I had a GPA of 3.82, developing myself all along the way.
I want to complete a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language (major) so I can pursue a career and develop myself further, and return to develop my community and help the younger generation. I chose Chinese Language because studying it makes me happy and I want to keep learning until I am highly skilled — I will be very committed to studying Chinese.
I started working at around age 12–13 doing laundry for hire. While at school I was hired to plant rice and pull weeds.
During high school I volunteered at Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Later I entered and won a video clip competition and received a trophy.
I am studying for a degree in Chinese Language. I want to succeed in language and education and in my career. I want to become a tour guide and interpreter, and return to develop my community and help the younger generation. I will be focused and give my best.
