University Scholarship
My parents left their community seeking a better future, and I grew up learning to adapt and move forward. Since 16, I have worked while studying to support my family. Despite financial hardship, I stay strong and committed to building a better future.
I am studying Accounting with the goal of changing my reality and supporting my family. Growing up with financial limitations and working from a young age has not been easy, but I remain committed to my studies and determined to build a better future.
I started working at 16 as a cashier in a taqueria, also helping with cleaning and food preparation. At 18, I moved to a hotel for better pay, but the long hours affected my rest, so I switched to a more flexible job to continue working while prioritizing my studies.
Growing up with limited resources made me deeply aware of others' struggles. I support my family and take part in community clean-ups. Even when I have little, I give my time and effort, believing small actions can bring hope and change.
I want to succeed in Accounting to give my family a better life. I dream of giving my parents the rest they deserve after years of sacrifice, and ensuring my future children never face the hardships I did, breaking that cycle.
